The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools manages two major fundraising programs that help underwrite administrative and operational costs and provide support for Foundation programs that benefit both students and teachers.

“Fore Our Schools” Annual Golf Tournament
This popular golf tournament, held annually in the fall, brings together hundreds of community leaders and education supporters for a day of fun on the links.  The 2008 event is scheduled for Friday, September 19.

 




“Support Education” specialty license plate
The Foundation receives $20 from the sale of each “Support Education” specialty license tag sold in Orange County. This is one of the most popular and easiest ways to contribute to efforts to enhance student achievement in the county. The entire tax-deductible donation goes directly back into Orange County classrooms in the form of grants awarded to teachers for classroom learning projects. Public involvement. Public education. Public benefit.

Fund Administration for Schools: As a 501 c(3) organization, the Foundation can hold and distribute restricted funds that benefit individual schools or district-wide programs. It’s a value-added service for schools, providing them the resources and expertise to set up and manage educational funds.
