Count Me In! holds to the belief that here, in Orange County, everyone - from public leaders to parents, teachers, neighbors and colleagues - has a role to play in shaping the kinds of communities in which they want to live and driving long-term educational changes to ensure high standards of achievement for every child. And, through Count Me In!, we’ve learned that not only do citizens recognize the need for change; they want to participate in it. The Count Me In! Community Agreement (En Español) lays the groundwork for positive change that can and should be nurtured through active and engaged citizens.

Count Me In! Grants are designed to encourage and facilitate projects or programs in Orange County that take action on the target areas identified in the Agreement. Proposals should focus on reconnecting the community with our public schools in ways that positively impact the well-being of our youth.   Grants must be true to the integrity and spirit of the Agreement.
