Community, corporate and educational leaders are invited to judge teacher grant applications every fall to help decide which classrooms will received additional philanthropic resources for that year. Judging is typically from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on a weekday, and judges read and score blind applications based on a set rubric. Each application is read by three judges, and scores are averaged to get a final number.
