The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools thanks Bank of America for its support of our AVID Tutors program. Recently, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation awarded us a $7,000 Workforce Development & Education Grant to help fund Advancement Via Individual Determination, or AVID. The program seeks to help underserved middle and high school students, ages 11-18 and enrolled in the Orange County Public Schools, graduate with the education and life skills to access post-secondary educational opportunities. The grant we received is part of ongoing investments by Bank of America to help connect the unemployed, underemployed, veterans, youth and those with disabilities to employment opportunities and success.
