Read2Succeed Program

Program Information
Since 2001, Read2Succeed has been helping students on their road to reading success. We continue to improve the program through feedback from teachers and volunteers. Traditionally, our program has served second graders struggling with reading fluency.  In the 2012-2013 school year, a first grade vobabulary enhancement program was piloted.
The Read2Succeed First Grade Voabulary Enhancement Program focuses on increasing vobabulary and background knowledge for at risk first graders.  Our program effectively utilizes volunteers and a district approved curriculum to supplement what is being taught in the classroom.

The Read2Succeed Second Grade Fluency Program utilizes a research-based program, The Six-Minute Solution, which quickly builds fluency through interactive, repeated readings of high-interest, targeted readability passages. This program includes effective instructional procedures that guide students to improved literacy with one visit a week for 30-45 minutes from a volunteer.

The Foundation provides all the necessary materials free of charge for each program.
