Non-fiction Classroom Library Grants
Overview
The Classroom Libraries Grant, funded by License4Learning - Florida Specialty Education License Plate, will be awarded to purchase non-fiction books to provide K through 12th grade school students additional non-fiction reading resources to enhance classroom learning and literacy for traditional Orange County Public Schools.
Grant requests will be accepted for non-fiction books as follows:
- up to $500 per teacher
Community and education leaders judge grant applications in a competitive process, with preference given to creative proposals that clearly and comprehensively describes the classroom and student need for non-fiction reading materials. All OCPS processes must be followed. Check with your school bookkeeper for vendors and ordering procedures before submitting your application to ensure mandated district compliance.
