Edgewater High School SGA

Edgewater High School's Student Government Association (SGA) serves as an organization in which student ideas can be brought to fruition. EHS's SGA is part of a larger organization known as the Florida Association of Student Councils.  FASC consists of over 200 middle and high schools from throughout the State of Florida who are working together to bring about: 1) growth in student leadership; 2) participation in student activities; and 3) student engagement in civic affairs.  Involvement in SGA will develop a student's leadership skills, responsibility, and personal growth all while promoting the idea of a representative democracy.

Dr. Keisha Mulfort is the sponsor of the Student Government Association for Edgewater High School.  For additional information on how you can become involved, please contact her at keisha.mulfort@ocps.net.

The Edgewater High School Student Government Association announces the Michelle “ChellyRey” Reynolds Scholarship

Early this summer, the Edgewater family suffered a great loss with the passing of Michelle Reynolds.

Michelle was an Edgewater High School alumna who carried on her parents’ legacy of serving the community through her full-time work at Every Kid Outreach (EKO)—an organization designed to equip and empower children to become productive citizens with solid character.

She was also the founder of The Sister’ing Movement, “a network of over 4,500 women from around the world whose goal is to provide opportunities and platforms that give women a safe space and unite them together as sisters.”

Michelle was committed to walking in purpose, on purpose, and this scholarship will recognize how well Michelle loved people and used every opportunity to connect them with their God-given purpose.

The scholarship will be presented to one male and one female graduating senior who have given selflessly of themselves to improve the overall state of affairs in their community.

All gifts to the scholarship fund are tax deductible.
