Since 1933, OTC has continued to grow and evolve, always focused on improving the lives of students and positively impacting workforce needs here in Central Florida. Throughout our five technical college campuses, you can learn the industry skills needed to start a whole new CAREER, attain your high school diploma, become an apprentice, learn English and even expand your current skills to make you more marketable to employers.

The Avalon Campus, our state-of-the-art facility, currently offers career training programs in: Digital Media/Multimedia Design, Massage Therapy, Medical Assisting, and Pharmacy Technician. Completion of these courses can lead to the industry certification exam which can have many benefits. In addition, we offer GED and ESOL classes and a wide array of computer and health continuing education classes. Not only does Avalon Campus serve adults and businesses in East Orlando and surrounding areas, we also offer dual enrollment opportunities in our career training programs for many Orange County high schools.

 

How Do I Give?

The OTC – Winter Park-Avalon Fund is a fund under the fiscal management of the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools (FOCPS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides full transparency and disclosure. Contributions to benefit the Fund can be made at any time through FOCPS and will be fully tax deductible as permitted by law.  Contributions may be made via cash, check or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be made payable to FOCPS with the Fund’s name indicated in the Memo section.

On Saturday, April 4, 2020, Orange Technical College will be holding our 3rd Annual Avalon Community Festival at our Avalon Campus. We intend to provide a fun way to connect with our school community, provide educational information about Orange Technical College program offerings, and to give our corporate and business partners an opportunity to connect with our school community. The funds that are raised will be used to support students in our Career and Technical Education programs.

We are actively seeking Sponsors to help provide monetary donations and contribute door prizes, gift certificates, and silent auction items. If this is something your organization would be interested in, please complete the form below.
