Teacher Impact Grants

Teacher Impact Grants

Teacher Impact Grants for the 2023-24 school year are now closed. We will announce the grant opportunities for the 2024-25 school year in the Summer of 2024.

Backed by some of the community's major corporate education supporters, the Foundation for OCPS (FOCPS) has secured over $3 million for classroom-specific grants and awarded these funds to over 5,500 OCPS teachers since the inception of the Teacher Impact Grants.

FOCPS provides grants to classroom teachers implementing innovative teaching practices that have the potential to improve student achievement. When teachers are given the resources they need, they can create truly transformative learning experiences for their students.

The Teacher Impact Grants are designed to provide teachers with the resources to implement innovative projects to engage students and improve learning outcomes. The grants are available for a variety of projects, including:

    •    Arts Education (Visual & Performing)

    •    Innovative Math, Science, and Engineering education projects

    •    STEM Focus and supplies

    •    Environmental Science

Grants are available from $500 to $15,000 depending on which grant a teacher applies for.

FOCPS is committed to investing in the future of our community by supporting our teachers and students. We believe every child deserves access to quality education, and we are working to make that a reality through these Teacher Impact Grants.

We are so grateful to our generous donors for making the funds available, our amazing teachers for applying, and the volunteer grant review team for selecting winners. Your support is making a difference in the lives of our students.
