Dashawna's Superhero Fund
Dashawna is a fifth grader at OCPS ACE, where her family has attended since opening day. On November 28, Dashawna was airlifted to Shands Hospital for a series of tests to determine her need for a heart transplant. Dashawna is still in the hospital, awaiting transplant news.
The family is currently experiencing financial hardship. The school community would like to continue to offer them support through this difficult time. The ACE community is committed to assist the family with their needs. Funds raised to help Dashawna will be sent to the family to help cover medical bills, the costs of uprooting the family to Gainesville to be closer to Dashawna, and other medical needs.
