Overview

In collaboration with Walt Disney World Resort, the Environmental Science Impact Grant is open to all traditional OCPS K-12th grade teachers for supplies, materials, and/or equipment to begin or expand their school's animal/insect science, gardening/horticulture, and sustainability/conservation programs and projects.

Funds will be provided for selected proposals that creatively and productively use environmental science to enhance instruction and students' educational experiences.

Grant requests will be accepted for supplies, materials, and/or equipment up to $2,000. Funding preferences will be given to new grant applicants/submissions.

Community and education leaders judge grant applications in a competitive process, with preference given to creative, well-written proposals that clearly and comprehensively describe the classroom and/or students' needs.

Be sure your budget can be purchased through OCPS ordering guidelines and that you are using an OCPS-approved vendor.

Grant applicant is responsible for confirming with the school bookkeeper materials and vendor(s) selected are approved by OCPS before submitting an application.
