Lake Silver Elementary Fund
The purpose of the Lake Silver Elementary School Fund is to provide supplemental funds to improve the learning experience forstudents, while strengthening the bond between students, teachers, parents and the surrounding community.
Parents and family members of students at Lake Silver Elementary work throughout the year to provide funds for teacher grants to obtain instructional materials for their classrooms. The focus is in the areas of technology & science, arts & music, and literacy.
The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at the Lake Silver Elementary School.
A portion of funds raised can also be designated to help students in need as determined by the Board of Directors.
Contributions to the Lake Silver Elementary School Fund can be made at any time.. The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Please write Lake Silver ES in the memo section. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.
The Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Lake Silver Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.
