Glenridge Middle Lions Pride Fund

The Lions Pride Fund  was established for Glenridge Middle School with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools.  Its purpose is to ensure an exceptional educational experience for all students at GMS by raising funds from parents and local businesses to make improvements to the school and secure the expansion of 21st century learning.

The Lions Pride Fund’s initiatives for the 2023-2024 school year include:

  • International Baccalaureate (IB) Dues ($10,000) – The IB program provides a solid academic foundation that prepares students with transferable, future-ready skills to be citizens of tomorrow, who are ready to step up as leaders and contribute to their world.
  • New Furniture for the Media Center ($5,000) – New furniture for the media center will create a more comfortable, welcoming and modern space for students that promotes learning and fosters student engagement.
  • LEGO Spike Kits ($5,000) – LEGO Spike Kits enhance the STEAM learning experience and encourage students to develop abstract and critical thinking skills to creatively solve complex problems.

It is because of the Lions Pride Fund’s charitable donors that the educational experience for all students at GMS continues to be extraordinary and our school continues to be a premiere public middle school.

All contributions to The Lions Pride Fund are tax deductible and will be held in a separate account with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools to be used exclusively for GMS. The Lions Pride Fund accepts cash, check or credit card payments in one lump-sum or in multiple installments throughout the school year. The Lions Pride Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and the principal of GMS. Any funds collected above the $20,000 goal will be used to support the GMS 2024-2025 school year priorities.

If you prefer to send a check, make it payable to Foundation for OCPS, write Glenridge Middle School in the memo section and mail it to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.
