The Apopka Memorial High School was established in 1953 as a 7th – 12th-grade campus on the current middle school grounds. In 1976, Orange County Public Schools built a new school at the current location on Martin Road modifying the name to Apopka High School and in 2009, the school was completely rebuilt. Sixty-Seven years of Apopka graduates have paved the way for the success of the Apopka Community. The town of Apopka and the northwest region of Orange County has always been an independent, self-sufficient community with a sense of service and pride in achievements. From academics to arts to sports, the experiences students from Apopka High School received have molded them into the successful alumni they are.
The Apopka High School Alumni Association (AHSAA), made up of friends, family, teachers, students, and graduates from the Apopka Memorial High School and the Apopka High School campuses, was established to ensure that current and future students would receive the rich traditions of Apopka and support of a community that greatly benefited from their high school experiences.
Why join AHSAA? To find a small way to give back, be part of service opportunities, have a voice, be a mentor, re-engage and be involved in our great community, reunite with your high school friends, and uplift and resource the future of Apopka.
