Central Florida Homeless Education Summit

Save the Date

The Central Florida Homeless Education Summit will take place on May 31, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Windermere High School.  The event is intended to educate school staff and members of various community agencies of supports available to our students in housing transition. With the number of homeless students rising almost 50% since 2020 supporting our neediest student population both emotionally and academically is more important than ever.

School and district staff as well as community agency leaders from Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties are the target audience. However, as our event has significantly grown over the last four years, interest from other school districts has increased. As a result, district leaders across the state of Florida were invited to the 2024 event.

Part of the Summit will be an Expo Hall from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. which is during our breakout sessions and lunch.  As a partner in supporting students succeed, we invite you to share your resources with the approximately 500 participants and 150 volunteers and guests.
