Teacher Impact Grants

Teacher Impact Grants

Announcements of the winning grant recipients for The Phoenix Foundation of the 23-24 Teacher Impact Grants are in progress.

We are thrilled to announce Round 2 of Teacher Impact Grants funding available for classroom projects. For more information, please navigate to the Lockheed Martin STEM Classroom Grant Program page and the Disney Environmental Science page. Funding preferences will be given to new grant applicants/submissions.

Backed by some of the community's major corporate education supporters, the Foundation for OCPS (FOCPS) has secured over $3 million for classroom-specific grants and awarded these funds to over 5,500 OCPS teachers since the inception of the Teacher Impact Grants.

FOCPS provides grants to classroom teachers who are implementing innovative teaching practices that have the potential to improve student achievement. When teachers are given the resources they need, they can create truly transformative learning experiences for their students.

The Teacher Impact Grants are designed to provide teachers with the resources they need to implement innovative projects that will engage students and improve learning outcomes. The grants are available for a variety of projects, including:

    •    Arts Education (Visual & Performing)

    •    Innovative Math, Science, and Engineering education projects

    •    STEM Focus and supplies

    •    Environmental Science

Grants are available from $500 to $5,000 depending on which grant a teacher applies for.

FOCPS is committed to investing in the future of our community by supporting our teachers and students. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are working to make that a reality through these Teacher Impact Grants.
