Thomas Moore Family Fund

As many in our University High School community know, beloved teacher Tom Moore was battling cancer. We have created this page for those who would like to help the Moore family by making a gift to assist with medical bills and other costs.  He fought valiantly but lost the battle.

Tom started his career at University HS in 1997, and has been here ever since, inspiring countless students to be their best. He is a favorite among our students and young alumni: many come back to visit after high school to thank him for pushing them and encouraging them to reach for the stars as well as their own potential.

If you would like to help Tom’s family in this time of need, please make a gift to the Thomas Moore Family Fund. You may give online using the form below. If you prefer to give by check, please make it payable to “Foundation for OCPS” and write “Thomas Moore Family Fund” in the memo section, then mail to Foundation for OCPS, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL 32801.

PLEASE NOTE: Since all contributions will be distributed directly to the family, gifts are not considered tax-deductible. However, your support is deeply appreciated by the Moore family and will be a great comfort to them.
