distance learning to begin march 30
With school not open to students until April 15, OCPS will begin "distance learning" Monday, March 30, for all students. Click on the OCPS Distance Learning tile on the district website's front page to become familiar with the instructional platform at www.ocps.net.

how can i help at this time:

You can support the following funds: OCPS Food & Nutrition, OCPS Homeless Education, or OCPS Family Fund by clicking on the "GIVE" heart above or by clicking here.  You may also choose “Area of Greatest Need” to ensure your gift has maximal impact. For your convenience the gift options for these funds have been moved to the top of the list. Thank you for your gift to support our students and staff at this trying time.

We need a supply of gift cards for groceries and other needs for students and their families, and potentially for staff as well. Cash contributions can be made online to allow us to purchase them (choose “Area of Greatest Need” and specify “gift cards for COVID-19 crisis” in the Notes section), or gift cards themselves can be given in-kind for us to distribute.

Anyone who is interested in helping ensure that students receive meals during the second week of the break should visit the website for our partner Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB). SHFB is encouraging cash contributions rather than food contributions at this time. Visit www.feedhopenow.org to help!

We will need to replenish food pantries at many schools once this crisis is over. Cash contributions for this purpose can be accepted now (please use the Notes section to specify this designation if you choose to give online), and we can work with you on logistics at a later date.
