The purpose of the Brookshire Fund is to supplement the funds available to Brookshire Elementary School and to improve our kids education. The Fund is overseen by the Board of Directors composed of parents, teachers and staff.
The Brookshire Fund maintains a segregated account at The Foundation for Orange County Public Schools and the funds will be used solely for the benefit of Brookshire Elementary students. Donations can be made by check or credit card and will be tax deductible to the extent of the law as a contribution to a 501c3 organization with transparency and full disclosure.
The Brookshire Fund board members have committed to donate $500 each and we would love for everyone to get on board. No donation is too small to assist the Brookshire students to get a better education.
We have recently spent $32,000 to get each teacher a tablet computer, $7,000 to install carpets in upstairs classroom and $2,000 on educational software to be used in all classrooms. But there is so much more we can do together! We set a goal to raise $60,000 this year and we hope you can help us!
