Dommerich Elementary Fund

 

The purpose of the Dommerich Fund is to raise dollars to supplement the funds available to Dommerich Elementary School.  The fund is charged with supporting a three fold mission in support of Resources and Technology for the Students, Teacher Training and Certification, and Community Involvement and Outreach.  Our events are social events that bring our community together while in support of our children's school. 

The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at the Dommerich Elementary School.

Contributions to The Dommerich Fund can be made at any time to Dommerich Elementary School, and will be tax deductible.  The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.

The Dommerich Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Dommerich Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.

Fundraising Focus

One of the great reasons the Fund exists is to provide flexibility to the school financial resources.  The Fund can deploy capital to support any viable and necessary initiative the administration and board supports.  This year, we are increasing our reserves to support teacher training courses over the summer of 2024, continue our support of the community outreach team and to improve our financial position for future needs.
