The Dommerich Fund

 

The purpose of the Dommerich Fund is to raise dollars to supplement the funds available to Dommerich Elementary School.  The fund is charged with supporting a three fold mission in support of Resources and Technology for the Students, Teacher Training and Certification, and Community Involvement and Outreach.  Our events are social events that bring our community together while in support of our children's school. 

The Fund is overseen by a Board of Directors composed of parents and community members, working together with the Principal and staff at the Dommerich Elementary School.

Contributions to The Dommerich Fund can be made at any time to Dommerich Elementary School, and will be tax deductible.  The Fund can receive gifts via cash, check (payable to FOCPS) or credit card, in one payment or multiple installments throughout the school year. Checks should be mailed to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, 445 West Amelia Street, Orlando, FL. 32801.

The Dommerich Fund will maintain a separate account at the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools available only to Dommerich Elementary School; it will be tax deductible as a contribution to a 501(c)(3) organization with transparency and full disclosure.

Fundraising Focus

One of the great reasons the Fund exists is to provide flexibility to the school financial resources.  The Fund can deploy capital to support any viable and necessary initiative the administration and board supports.  This year, we are increasing our reserves to support teacher training courses over the summer of 2022, continue our support of the community outreach team and to improve our financial position for future needs.

The event will be a glow golf 4 person scamble with a shotgun start at 6:00 pm.
 

Our first glow golf event was a rousing success which yielded over $3500 in net proceeds to the Dommerich Fund.   

This year we hope to duplicate the fun and the contribution to the school.  

 

We are limited to 13 foursomes due to time restrictions for the course usage. 

First come, first serve.

 

The cost of admission will include 2 mulligans per player, one raffle ticket per player and

each foursome will be given 10 feet of string, details provided in email. 

Beverages and light food will also be provided. 

The winning team will each receive a WP9 branded hat and ball marker.
