Wekiva Culinary Fund

 
The sole mission of the Wekiva Culinary Fund is to provide Wekiva stdents the best possible environment to learn career-ready skills and acquire the experience necessary for a sccessful future in higher education or the workforce.  
 
The Wekiva Culinary Fund does this by supporting three types of initiatives: college and scholarship opportunities, career and technical education opportunities, and program fundriasers to sustain facility maintenance and expansion.  These programs include the following:
  • Wekiva Culinary Internship Program
  • Mustang Chef Summer Camp
  • Mustang Bistro Renovation
  • Wekiva Culinary Competition Team
  • Wekiva Culinary's Renaissance Fair
  • 2020 Awards Banquet
  • Kitchen Maintenance and Equipment

Contributions to the Wekiva Culinary Fund (WCF) can be made at any time to Wekiva High School.  The Fund accepts cash, check or credit card in one lump-sum payment or multiple installments throughout the school year.  Donations are tax deductible as a contribution to the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools as a 501(c)(3) organization.  ALL contributions to the Culinary Fund will be used exclusively for Wekiva High School and will be held in a separate fund with the Foundation for Orange County Public Schools.
 
The WCF is overseen by an Fund Advisory Board comprised of local community, education and business leaders along with the school principal, administrators, parent and student representatives, as well as the Program Director.
