The Antunez Family Fund
The weekend of March 9th, University High School's evening custodian, Dailin Antunez’s house burnt nearly completely down in a fire caused by an exploding propane canister. No one was injured by the grace of God but Dailin and her family lost just about everything within the house. Dailin lived in the house with her husband and two adult sons along with her 3 year old grandson when he is with his dad.
Dailin is still figuring out what she need to be rebuild but as a school community we do not want to wait to come together as a family to assist. Right now, Dailin and her family are living in a hotel while they work through the process of repairing their home. Therefore, it is best for us to focus on what Dailin and her family need now while also taking stock of what they will need in the future.
At this time, we would like to work together as our Cougar family to provide Dailin with gift cards for groceries, gas, toiletries, dinners, etc. Once Dailin and her family are back in the home, we can then expand to offers of furniture and other such things. Gift cards for Walmart, Amazon, and Target will also help replace clothes for her family and toys for her grandson.
