In collaboration with Walt Disney World Resort, the Gardening/Horticulture Impact Grant is open to all traditional OCPS K-12th grade teachers for supplies, materials, and/or equipment to begin or expand their school's gardening/horticulture program. 

 

Funds will be provided for selected proposals that creatively and productively use gardening/horticulture to enhance instruction and students' educational experiences.

Grant requests will be accepted for supplies, materials, and/or equipment:

A school may submit more than one proposal for consideration; however, only one grant per applicant may be submitted. 

 

Community and education leaders judge grant applications in a competitive process, with preference given to creative, well-written proposals that clearly and comprehensively describe the classroom and/or students' needs.

 

Be sure your budget can be purchased through OCPS ordering guidelines and that you are using an OCPS-approved vendor. 

 

Grant applicant is responsible to confirm with the school bookkeeper materials and vendor(s) selected are approved by OCPS before submitting an application.
